Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. High Cholesterol at Applebee's

Well, steaks and ribs go hand in hand with cholesterol. Being their signature dish, it will be a challenge to find low-calorie, healthy food for those concerned with their cholesterol levels. However, you can always opt for their salads and other light foods to keep the cholesterol in check.

Huge disappointment. Matt our bartender insinuated verbally he was not fond of veterans. I came in for 3.00 off a dinner that was given to me on veterans day.It was a thank u for being a veteran and the mgr. at the time said thank u and please come back. The day I went back I had a friend join me and he ate and I besides my meal had a cocktail.a coffee and a desert besides my lousy 3.00 discount. I questioned Matt the bartender about the bill and his response was, u got your free meal on veterans day, what do I want another free meal? I left him a well deserved 2.00 tip and told him he needed new job. This is why there is racism in our country even among whites. I expect restitution monetarily or My friends and I will picket protest and whatever else it takes. Over and out.

First time here and sadly not going back. Got seated very quickly but then the waitress took our order and went MIA. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for our food without any notification of any sort about when our food was coming. I got the 9 oz house steak and my girlfriend got the cross cut ribs. My steak was very dry, the corn and mashed potatoes were obviously left sitting out for awhile. my plate was barely warm. My girlfriend's cross cut ribs were pretty much all bone and the little bit of meat that was on them were burnt. I ate my food because as a guy I can deal with it and I've had much worst but I didn't appreciate my girlfriend being served burnt bones and fries. I brought up the issue to the manager and he kindly brought out a brand new dish for my girlfriend which she and I appreciated (thank you). I understand that they were kind of busy and that they were doing their best, but it could've been executed a lot better...

Came in today. Waited quite a few minutes to be seated. Bartender eventually came to seat us. I asked for the manager immediately. The restaurant is near empty by the way. I advised I was concerned that we weren't being tended to in an orderly fashion. He apologized. In the meantime, a female employee was hanging on a male employee running around the bar flirting. While ok the clock. Gross and immature. Food took a while too. Saw the server go in and out of the kitchen 3 or 4 times not knowing where the food was supposed to go. Sadly, to my table. All 3 of us had cold food. Stale. Disappointing. The manager came to check on us we advised unpleased he offered new food but given the amount of time it took the first time, and with our already mounting disappointment, we respectfully declined. It's a sign of bad management. Poor leadership and a lack of care for customers. I won't be coming back. Save yourself time, money, and irritation. Don't visit. You'll be glad you didn't.

This place is horrible! They hire the worst people to work here. All high school kids with NO customer service skills. One time, as soon as we walked in, the entire front entrance smelled like weed. The two boys working at the entrance we're extremely high and when we mentioned that it smelled like weed, they go, "crap, you can smell that?" What kind of place allows this? One of the worst Applebee's I've experienced. Their food has also gone down in quality.

Applebees is not the same applebees. New, fresh, alternative healthy meals, that are flavorful. Try the cedar grilled lemon chicken or the Fiesta lime chicken! Matt the bartender is classic and funny; a seasoned service veteran that handles all clientele with a professional attitude! I eat here weekly because of the fast and flexible service. Attitude is everything, so I recommend sitting at the bar or coming for Trivia one night!

Aweful dont sit at the bar. It smells like old beer coming from the dishwasher. Bar counter is sticky and dirty. Telephone at the bar ring every 5 min loudly.

The last time I found myself in an Applebee's restaurant outside of an airport, and before that late hour when they offer half-priced appetizer specials, was ... uh ... actually, I can't remember. My point: abject desperation is usually to blame if I find myself in an Applebee's. And yeah, I know, it's cool to slam big, hulking, chain restaurants these days while favoring smaller, local joints (sometimes to a seemingly arbitrary degree). So forgive me as I briefly trundle along with the unholy band wagon. Or not. Whatever. After midnight, my community and the nearby surrounding areas have a woefully short list of dining options. Essentially, it's like going out to eat in Purgatory. Or a very boring episode of The Twilight Zone. Take your pick: 1.) Botched drive-thru orders (and very possibly a serious risk of worms, parasites, uncontrollable bowel upset and/or a small existential crisis) at McDonald's or Taco Bell, wherein you are afforded the small dignity of privacy while dining at home or in your vehicle, and most certainly in pitiful, pitiful shame, 2.) The soulless yet artery-clogging unoriginality of Applebee's half-off wingsliderappeteazercrapcombo, hold the self-loathing please, 3.) a quick trip to the 24-hour Wal-Mart for ... never mind, you're way too lazy for that, or 4.) going hungry and crying yourself to sleep. So ... by that narrow, half-priced margin, Applebee's eeks out a win over the alternatives. (Dude. Plan ahead next time. Always have a "For Emergency Use Only"-pizza in the freezer.) Submitted for your approval: The menus are always sticky. With what? Rabid baby spit, months-old queso dip, the bus boy's tears, or -- God forbid -- Bud Light? Who knows? Who cares! The grilled chicken wonton tacos are a half-priced appetizer! ... But they're sold out. So get the potato twisters instead. HAHA JUST JOKES, SUCKER! Twisters are sold out too! Try the most forgettable chicken wings on the planet and get charged 99 cents extra for an additional milliliter of ranch dressing. Defying all logic, your order is delivered on a scorching plate hotter than the surface of the effing sun, ... and yet ... upon this smouldering surface your gelatinous clump of wings is barely hot. O, GREAT MYSTERY OF MYSTERIES. At least this way you won't destroy the roof of your mouth. That's right, soldier - always look on the bright side. ... So is it worth feeling disappointed, or attempting to complain to the 22-year-old manager-on-duty, when you find a tightly coiled, black hair spiraling out of your second-to-last wing? Hmmm ... While momentarily considering whether or not you would have preferred to have found said hair earlier on in your half-priced dining experience ('cuz then you go a little crazy and start wondering what other surprise bonus freebies you didn't notice and ATE!), you are abruptly distracted from your peaceful reverie: three cops rush in to the rowdy booth next to yours and you find yourself treated to dinner and a show! ... of sorts. At this point, it becomes clear to you that the 22-year-old dining room manager has his hands full and probably won't have the time to chat any time soon. A la, you'll probably lodge your complaint about the short-'n'-curly wing garnish with corporate in the morning. (But probably not.) If you'd been given a napkin -- and silverware too, for that matter -- you probably wouldn't have smeared wing sauce all over the door handle on your way out. And, with any luck, you probably won't be coming back.

I have to start by saying that I am not a huge Applebee's fan due to poor service and food quality through the years but after seeing a movie in the Falls, I decided to give it a try again - at a new location. The place was really crowded and I love the decor. They had wall dedicated to the sports teams for Menomonee Falls - pretty cool. Upon walking in, I noticed the restaurant was very clean too. Our waitress seemed very nice. I had the steak and it came a big rare so she took it back to get it cooked (this seems to be the main problem I always have at Applebees - rare meat) My plate came back, hot and refilled (BONUS) with my steak cooked just right. Great atmosphere. Seems to be the hot spot on a Friday night in the Falls. I really like this location but other than that, just still OK.

I love Applebee's, but this specific location has giving me soooo many headaches!! I love the "To Go" option, but they seem to screw up my order 70% of the time!! And I get the easiest stuff on the menu, ALWAYS!!! Disappointed!!!

This Applebee's is ran by high school kids, have been here once inside to dine & been through the take out & both times have sucked!!! My order at the carry out was messed up beyond repair they forgot to give me my chips for my chips & cheese dip, they didn't give me my chicken basket either (the entire entree) & when i got home & saw their mistake I was livid & called the manager immediately. It's a good thing that I'm a small eater so I was able to share my daughters meal. The manager wanted me to drive all the way back but I was just so mad by then. He said he would send a coupon in mail for my free meal next time & 4 weeks later I still am waiting for that coupon. Will never go here again EVER & that manager is a bold face liar.

all i can say is way better than the one in Bayshore Mall when it comes to costumer service..the food are just ok, my husband told me that the chicken that i ordered are just like those chicken nuggets in the box that i can buy in the grocery...well, at least the service is not as disgusting as the one in bayshore mall..No more Applebees for us..

Went to the Menomonee Falls location Saturday evening, 5:00 pm. No children's menu given, no silverware on the table. Didn't bring the ranch dressing for the wings. When 5 out of 6 of our meals came, the waitress, Ashley, apparently either didn't put the order in or the cook didn't Fire it up, either way, first she tried to stall, claiming "it would be right out in 2 minutes" after "forgetting" to bring it out the 2nd time we asked where it was. I asked the manager where it was, as most of us had already finished eating. His excuse to us was that it was delivered to a different table. Could somebody please just man up and admit you made a mistake? I informed the manager we would not be paying for that dish. Still not served, and our waitress was no where to be seen. This must be a common theme. The manager gave a barely audible, insincere apology. He then informed us that he "wasn't going to charge us" for the late dish. Thanks for doing us a favor, I think.... That was the last we saw of him as far as "assisting" us. The manager , never got his name, seemed afraid to talk to us, was terrible at his job, had no customer service skills. I made the mistake of recommending this place for a family dinner. I won't be making that mistake again. I don't like having my intelligence insulted with bogus lies/ excuses. Stop the excuses and get some food, any food on that table, maybe a comped dessert, because someone in the restaurant messed up.

The service was great, but the food is getting more industrial. I swear most of the things I ate came from Chef Microwave then from actual chef preparation.

In a pinch I will head to a chain restaurant, lower my expectations and hope for the best. This restaurant failed to meet even my lowered standards. The food is bland, generic and uninspired. To top it off it came out late and lukewarm. The server did a fine job (the reason this place got any stars at all) but the rest of the experience was completely disappointing. If you are going to spend dining dollars anywhere, I would suggest trying more locally owned restaurants - but if time and convenience necessitates a chain, there are plenty of better ones nearby.

We arrived an hour before they closed on a quiet Tuesday night. So, I can understand that the server might be a little impatient with us. But it was immediately clear that she was completely annoyed that we were there, looking for a decent meal at the only place still open. The food was fine. It's Applebees...it's proud to be average. The price was fair. The booth was way too narrow. The server should have stayed home that night. I'll only go there again if I have no other options for hot food after 9pm.

My husband and I went there before a movie. We arrived in plenty of time, and it wasn't completely packed like it usually is on a Saturday night, so we figured we would have plenty of time before the movie. We asked for a table, and the person seating us took us to a booth, so when I saw a vacant table right next to the booth I asked if we could have it, which totally threw her for a loop. So, once she processed this information, she seated us at the table with menus. We looked at the menu, and the server came by shortly after. We ordered 2 margaritas and an appetizer sampler trio. Server said okay, he would put in the order and be right back with the drinks. We saw him waiting on a table of four people, talking, and enjoying himself, which is no biggie, but then 10 minutes passed, two new couples were seated around us, another 5 minutes passed, the others that came in received their drinks from their servers, but our server was nowhere to be found. Finally after almost 25 minutes, we found him and asked where our drinks were, to which he replied, "We have someone tending bar that doesn't normally do it and he's slow, let me check". Kinda thinking at this point, well, the other people got theirs...so then he brought the drinks, and took our order for the entree. We both ordered the Black and Bleu Burgers. He came with the appetizer, and we enjoyed that while we waited for our main course, and ordered 2 sodas. Our food was delivered another 25 minutes later by another server, who was also nice enough to get us some sodas and mustard. All the while, my husband and I were wondering if our server left for the night. All of a sudden, here comes our server asking if everything was okay, and apologizing for not bringing the sodas. He told us before he left to get those sodas that he, himself would get them so there wouldn't be a wait! We just looked at him and said everything's fine, so he would go away, because at this point, he was just getting annoying with his excuses for the delays. He overstayed his visit to our table. Finally he went away, and we finished our meal. Granted, the food was very good, Applebee's doesn't disappoint me, so that was a plus, but the service was just terrible. When it came time to pay up, he graciously took off the cost of the sodas for making us wait, but after the whole ordeal, it didn't seem like enough. We were there for over an hour and 15 minutes. I don't believe in not tipping, but this guy shouldn't have had a dime. I gave him $5.00 for a $41.00 bill and regretted not looking for the busboy that did most of the work for us, to tip him instead.

Service was great. The food was Ehhhh. Kids eat for $0.99 Mon-Wed. My kids love it! So we will probably go again though it's not going to be my favorite joint to find some grub. They do have WW points for several items which is good for those trying to get their bikini body on.

Received a coupon in the mail today for Applebees to celebrate their remodeling and we used it to save about $7 on an entree. Service good, food good, remodeling helped the facility. Had a Bahama Mama which I did not care for and wife had a Margarita which was excellent.

Grace and Company, the restaurant was renamed as Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar.
